The new Webhook integration allows you to send data to a url of your choice once a lead is captured using either GET or POST methods.
Steps to use Webhook Integration.
- Login to your account and goto the selected page where you would like to integrate webhooks. Select the Integrations tab and choose Webhook.
In the Name field, add a name so that you can easily recognize the webhook later. In the URL field, add the url to which lead data will be sent to once a lead is captured.
Use the Select Http method field to set the Http method that will be used to send your form data, you can either use GET or POST. We also support adding headers, use "Add Http Headers if any" area to add headers to your webhook request. You can use this to add authentication headers like apikey or bearer token if needed. Please note that each header consists of two parts: key and value, e.g. bearer : yuachghcahgj767868dc , where the first field is key and the second is value.
In the next step, map the form fields in your landing page with the fields on your server.
In the Additional Data step, you can set additional parameters that will be sent together with the form data. Similarly to headers, it consists of two parts: key and value, which should be completed. When added, please note that this additional data will be sent along with lead details for every successful form submission. You can use this to send additional data, for instance, from which page the lead is captured. This is something similar to hidden fields in form.
Hit continue and your webhook is all set and ready to use.
