Columns

A column is present within the Row and holds the Modules within it. In this article, you will find the details about how to Edit, Rearrange, Resize and Delete a Column. 

Edit a Column

FROM RIGHT PANEL -
To edit an existing Column, simply click on the Column in the Right Panel. The List of settings will be displayed on the Left Panel. Alternatively hover on the column and you will find a column layout icon, clicking on it will open the Column Settings on the Left Panel.

FROM CONTEXT MENU
Right Click on the respective Column and click on the Edit option in the Context Menu.

TIP: 

Splitting a Column - 
Select a column and choose the column layout icon. This shows different types of columns. Select any to change or split the existing column.

Column Padding - 
Select a column in the right panel and from the observer select the padding icon and change the settings. Alternatively, change the padding under the advanced tab in the left panel. 

Rearranging the Column 

The Columns can be rearranged using the Row’s Layout Manager. You can navigate to the Row’s Layout Manager in the following ways

USING THE OBSERVER / RIGHT PANEL - 
Click on the respective row in the right panel and click on the layout icon in the Observer to open the Row’s Layout Manager (on the left panel) that can be used to switch/swap columns.

FROM CONTEXT MENU – 
Right-click on any module within the Column and choose the Manage Columns options to open the Row’s Layout Manager that can be used to switch/swap columns.

BY CHOOSING THE ENCLOSING ROW – 
The row’s structural arrangement defines the placement of columns. Navigating to the corresponding parent row either by using the Breadcrumb Bar or Observer or Tree View will open the Row’s Layout Manager directly. And you can swap/switch columns from there.

Resizing the columns

In the right panel hover between the column regions and you can find a resizing symbol. Move it left or right to adjust the size of the column.

Deleting a Column

A column cannot be deleted from the Row. Alternatively, you can change the Column's Layout to decrease or increase the number of Columns in a Row. You can use the 'Delete' option in a Column to delete the contents in a particular Column.
