Setting a Master Variant

When you have more than one Variants for your page, and once you have identified which variants yield the best result, you have to set this as the Master Variant. The Master variant can be set up only when the page is in Standard mode. The option to set this is present in the drop-down menu beside the name of the variant in the dashboard. In addition to setting up the Master Variant, you also have the option to Delete and Duplicate a variant in the Menu. By default, the first variant that you create will be set up as the Master variant.

Switch to the standard mode in the dashboard. The option to set this is present in the drop-down menu beside the name of the variant in the dashboard.

IMPORTANT NOTE -

  1. The Master variant can be set up only when the page is in Standard mode, and not in A/B Testing Mode.
  2. The Master variant can be set up only manually. Once you have identified the winning variant for your campaign after conducting A/B tests, you have to switch to standard mode and manually set the Master Variant accordingly.
  3. By default, the first variant that is created will be set as the Master variant.
