Prerequisites
Before you begin, please ensure to have :
An active Swipe Pages account (https://app.swipepages.com)
A WordPress site with Admin access
The Swipe Pages WordPress plugin is installed and activated
Part 1: Generate an API Key in Swipe Pages
Step 1: Navigate to your Swipe Pages account
Log-in to your Swipe Pages account and navigate to Integrations -> WordPress.
Step 2: Generate the WordPress API Key
Click on the "Generate API Key" button.
Your API key will be generated and displayed.
Step 3: Copy the API Key
Click the "eye" icon to reveal the complete key, and click the "copy" icon to copy it to your clipboard.
⚠️ Ensure that you keep this key secure; you’ll need it for WordPress in the next section.
Part 2: Connect WordPress with Swipe Pages
Step 4: Navigate to Swipe Pages Plugin in WordPress
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard. In the left sidebar, navigate to
Swipe Pages → Sub-accounts, where you'll see :
Step 5: Enter Connection Details
Fill in the following fields and Click the "Connect" button :
Name — A label for this connection (example: “Main Website”)
API Key — Paste the API key that you've copied from Swipe Pages
Step 6: Successfully Connected account
Once successfully connected, a confirmation message along with your subaccount details will be displayed :
The table displays the following details :
Name — The label you entered
API Key — Masked version of your key
Plan — Your Swipe Pages subscription plan
Route Active — Toggle to enable/disable routing
Actions — Add pages or disconnect
Your WordPress site is now successfully connected to Swipe Pages.
Part 3: Add Landing Pages to WordPress
Step 7: Navigate to the Pages section
In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Swipe Pages → Pages
Here, you will be able to map your Swipe Pages landing pages to URL slugs on your WordPress domain.
Step 8: Connect Your Sub-account and Pages
Within the Add Pages section, select your connected Sub-account from the dropdown.
Step 9: Select the Pages
Click the Pages dropdown to view your published Swipe Pages landing pages, and select the ones you want to route through WordPress.
Once selected, a preview will display the WordPress URL slug for each page.
Step 10: Add Pages
Once your pages are selected, click on the "Add Pages" button.
The selected pages will appear in the Page Routing table.
Each routed page includes the following details :
Page Name — Your landing page name
Page URL in SP — Original Swipe Pages URL
Sub-account — Associated connection
Actions — View on WordPress or delete the route
Your landing page is now accessible at:
https://yourdomain.com/your-page-slug
Part 4: Managing Funnels (Optional)
The plugin also supports routing Swipe Pages funnels.
To connect Funnels, navigate to Swipe Pages → Funnels
You can add funnel routes using the same steps as used for landing pages.
Verifying the Connection
To confirm your WordPress site is connected:
Log in to Swipe Pages dashboard
Navigate to Integrations → WordPress
Under Connected Sites, you’ll see your WordPress domain listed
Important Notes
URL Changes
If you update a page URL in Swipe Pages, the WordPress routing will stop working properly. To fix this :
Delete the old route in WordPress.
Refresh the pages list.
Re-add the page with the updated URL.
Refresh Pages
If you publish new pages and are unable to see them in your WordPress list, click on the "Refresh pages list" button on the Pages screen.
Multiple Sub-accounts
You will be able to connect multiple Swipe Pages sub-accounts to a single WordPress site.
Route Active Toggle
Use the Route Active toggle in the Sub-accounts section to quickly enable or disable routing without disconnecting your account.
Debug Info
If you experience any issues, click on the Copy Debug Info at the bottom of the Sub-accounts page and share it with our support team.
