How to Connect Swipe Pages MCP to Antigravity IDE

Follow these steps to connect the Swipe Pages MCP directly into Antigravity IDE

Written by Swipe Pages

Step 1: Generate Your MCP API Key

  1. Open your AI Page Builder dashboard and click on Settings in the bottom-left corner.

  2. Click on MCP Keys.

  3. Give your key a name and click generate.

  4. Important: Copy the API Key and JSON snippet and save it somewhere safe; you will need it in the next steps.

Step 2: Open the Raw Configuration in Antigravity IDE

  1. Open Antigravity IDE. (Note: This process is for the standard Antigravity IDE, not Antigravity 2.0).

  2. Click the three dots (...) in the top-left corner.

  3. Select MCP Server from the menu. This will open up a panel in your left sidebar.

  4. Inside that sidebar, click on Manage MCP Server and then select View Raw Config.

Step 3: Modify and Paste the JSON Config

Before pasting your config into Antigravity, you need to make one quick change. Antigravity requires the property to be named serverUrl instead of url.

  1. Look at your copied text and change "url" to "serverUrl".

  2. Paste your modified block inside the mcpServers object in the Antigravity config file. See the Attached Image to confirm it looks exactly same.

  3. Save the file using Ctrl + S (Windows) or Cmd + S (Mac).

  4. Close the open config tab and close the MCP Server sidebar.

Step 4: Open a Workspace Folder

  1. Antigravity requires an active workspace to run its AI features. Click on Open a Folder.

  2. Select any folder or create blank folder on your computer. (Don't worry, Swipe Pages won't use or affect this folder; it's just required to wake up the IDE tools).

Step 5: Test and Allow the Connection

  1. Open the Chat Window in the left sidebar.

  2. Type the testing prompt:

"Give me the Tools you have from Swipe pages MCP"

  3. Antigravity will pop up a security prompt asking for permission to access the server. Select Allow (or Allow for All).

Tools showing from the successful MCP Connection!

Once allowed, the AI will list out all your available Swipe Pages building tools. You can now use Antigravity to build, edit, and publish your Swipe Pages AI landing pages.

Bonus: It works automatically in Antigravity 2.0!

Good news! You don't need to configure this twice. Antigravity 2.0 automatically syncs and inherits the MCP settings you just set up in the standard Antigravity IDE.

To verify that it is connected in Antigravity 2.0:

  1. Go to Settings in the bottom-left corner.

  2. Click on Customization.

  3. Check under Installed MCP Servers to confirm that the Swipe Pages MCP is active and connected.

Test with the Prompt "Give me the Tools you have from Swipe pages MCP"

Here are Example of what you can ask Antigravity to do for your Ai Page.

Once the connector is active, you can type natural prompts to manage your landing pages. Here are some examples of what you can do:

You can ask Claude to look through your project, find specific pages, or analyze your branding.

  • Prompt: "List all the pages in my project and find the one titled 'Summer Sale'."

  • Prompt: "Take a look at my homepage mysite.com branding using the scrape tool, and tell me what fonts and primary colors we are using."

2. Make Quick Text Edits

Instead of opening the builder, you can ask Claude to update text or change headers instantly.

  • Prompt: "Find the main hero block on my pricing page and change the headline from 'Start for Free' to 'Get Started Risk-Free for 14 Days'."

  • Prompt: "Look at the block with ID block_123 and fix the typo in the second paragraph."

3. Build & Move Sections

You can ask Claude to reorganize a page or insert new sections using existing HTML templates.

  • Prompt: "Insert a new call-to-action block right after the testimonial section on my landing page."

  • Prompt: "Rewrite the entire features block (block_456) to change it from a two-column layout to a three-column layout."

4. Check Availability & Publish

Claude can help you manage your links and push your pages live when they are ready.

  • Prompt: "Check if the URL mysite.com/blackfriday is available. If it is, go ahead and publish my promo page there."

  • Prompt: "Update the slug of my registration page to /webinar-thank-you and publish it."

5. Safety First (Destructive Actions)

For security, Claude will always ask for your explicit confirmation before deleting anything.

  • Prompt: "Delete the page titled 'Old Draft 2024'." (Claude will ask: "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this page? This cannot be undone.")
