If you already have a PayPal account, you can sign in to that account and skip to the part where I have mentioned: “Steps involved”.

If you don’t have a PayPal account, create one by clicking on the Sign-up link below.

Follow the steps mentioned by PayPal and create a Live PayPal account. (Please note that we only support Live PayPal accounts and PayPal Sandbox mode is not supported)

Please verify your email in PayPal. This is mandatory to get Client ID and Client Secret credentials from PayPal.

Steps involved:

1. Log in to PayPal and go to the PayPal Developer webpage using this link: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/business/get-started/#get-api-credentials

2. Select the Live mode. Then, create an app in order to the Client ID and Client Secret information.

3. Select the 'Apps and Credentials' Tab and click on 'Create App'.

4. Add a name for the app and then, click on 'Create App'.

Once you have created an app, click on the name of the app to get the Client ID and Client Secret information.

A short video tutorial for you regarding this process:

5. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret information from PayPal.

6. Select PayPal Gateway in the Swipe Pages dashboard.

Then, provide the PayPal email, Client ID and Client Secret information in order for the Swipe Page account to get connected with your PayPal account.
